Tranmere Rovers' hot teenage prospect Terry Gornell has today joined League Two side Accrington Stanley on a one-month loan spell.

Gornell, who has proved to be an exciting player for Rovers' reserve side over the past two seasons, as well as impressing in pre-season this summer, has played one first team game for Tranmere, coming off the substitutes bench in the 2-0 League Cup defeat to Grimsby in August, this after signing his first professional contract at the end of last season.

The 18-year old striker immediately made his debut for the Lancashire side, who Tranmere recently beat in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy, coming off the substitutes bench at half time to play 45 minutes for his new club today during their 3-0 loss to Darlington.
