Tranmere Rovers today continued their involvement in the January transfer window, as 22-year old left-back Carl Tremarco has today joined League Two side Wrexham for an undisclosed fee.

The Liverpool born ginger-haired full-back, who can also play at left-midfield, made his debut for Rovers in an F.A. Cup tie against Hornchurch at the back end of 2003 and went on to make 58 appearances for the club, scoring one goal, the first in a 2-1 win over Huddersfield in the 2005/06 season.

However, Tremarco never made his place in the Tranmere team a regular one, and the signing of Andrew Taylor from Blackburn today pointed towards an exit for the youngster.

Always a fully commited player, Tremarco re-joins former Tranmere manager Brian Little at Wrexham, where he will play with former Rovers players Gavin Ward, Sam Aiston and Paul Hall.

Tranmere Rovers Mad would like to thank Carl for his service to the club and wish him all the best for the future.
