Snow and frost have put the game in doubt and so an early pitch inspection will be made tomorrow morning to ensure that Tranmere fans and club officials do not make an unnecessary journey to Cheltenham.
Whether the game will be played or not, according to the Official Cheltenham Town website, depends heavily on the weather on Monday night. Warmer temperatures would make the game alot more likely to be on as this would give the frost a chance to thaw.
A number of games in League One set for Tuesday night have already been postponed.
