Tranmere sign Alex Bruce

Tranmere Rovers have today completed the on-loan signing of Birmingham City right-back, Alex Bruce. Bruce, the son of former Manchester United player Steve Bruce, has signed on-loan until January 2006, when an extension will be considered.
The 20 year old, who was onl-loan at Oldham Athletic last year (and also scored the winning penalty against Rovers in the LDV Vans Trophy Northern Section Semi Final last season) can play at right-back or center-back and has been given Ryan Taylor's old shirt, Number Two.
