Taylor in Team of the Week

For the third consecutive week, Tranmere Rovers have had a player selected in the League One team of the week, as left-back Andy Taylor was selected in the team for his performance in Tranmere's 4-3 home defeat to Colchester United.

Taylor put in a decent display, although he wasn't near his usual high standards, and scored a freakish goal in the second half that got Tranmere back in the game at 4-2, as his miss-hit 45 yard free-kick went straight to the goalkeeper who dropped it into the net.

Bemusingly, despite putting in a brilliant display, particularly in midfield, none of the Colchester players have been selected in the team, somewhat of an injustice you might say.

This is the third week running that Tranmere have been represented in the League One Team of the Week after Ryan Shotton was selected for his performances against Huddersfield and Peterborough and Chris Greenacre also for his performance against Peterborough.
