Shuker makes league XI

Shuker performance rewarded
After his eye catching display against Gillingham this weekend, Tranmere Rovers' winger Chris Shuker has been named in the League One team of the week for the first time this season by the press-assossiation.

The Rovers number 23 put in an excellent display against the Gills on Saturday, and it was his cross that Greenacre headed into the back of the net to put Tranmere 1-0 up at the Priestfield Stadium.

Former England players Alan Thompson (Leeds) and Darren Anderton (Bournemouth) also made the XI for their performances on Saturday.
