Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City will return to Prenton Park in July 2006 for pre-season friendlies as preperation for the 2006/07 season.

Hoddle will be returning with Championship side Wolves on Tuesday 18th July for a 7:45 kick off, quite possibly for the first time since Rovers beat Southampton 4-3 when The Saints lead 3-0 at half time during a 5th Round F.A. Cup replay.

Coventry City meanwhile will be returning to Prenton Park, under Mickey Adams, for the first time since their 1999/00 League Cup 3rd Round 3-1 win (lost 6-4 on aggregate). That game will be played on Wednesday 26th July, also as 7:45 kick off.

Tranmere will announce other pre-season friendlies at a later date.
