Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of 24-year old Central Defender Chris McCready on a one-year deal.
McCready signs on a free-transfer after being released from Crewe Alexandra, where he made 67 appearences after breaking through from the youth team.
McCready enjoyed a successful trial at Prenton Park last week, featuring in the defeat to Vauxhall Motors, a game in which he impressed boss Ronnie Moore.
