Rovers sign full-back Taylor

Tranmere Rovers have today signed Blackburn Rovers left-back Andrew Taylor on an initial one-month loan deal.

Taylor has come through the Blackburn youth system, which has also produced the likes of David Dunn, and has so far made 20 appearances for the Premiership side as well as spending time on loan with Queens Park Rangers, Crewe, Huddersfield and Blackpool.  He is also an England youth international.

Taylor joins winger Kevin Cooper who is also on loan at the club and is also a left-sided player.  The 21-year old slots straight into the Tranmere squad to play Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium tomorrow whilst he will also be available to play in the F.A. Cup for Tranmere when they take on Bradford in the second round of this years tournament on December 1st.
