Rovers pull Woking out of the hat

Tranmere Rovers have been paired with Conference side Woking in the first round proper of the 2006/07 F.A. Cup.

The game will be played on the weekend of November 11/12, with the match most likely to be played on the Saturday unless it is selected for television.

It is the first time Rovers will have played a home F.A. Cup match since the F.A. Cup Quarter Final replay against Millwall in the 2003/04 season, when Rovers were cruelly defeated 2-1.
