Tranmere Rovers duo Shane Sherriff and Paul McLaren have both been selected in the League One team of the week following their performances against Huddersfield Town on Friday night.
Rovers won the game 3-0 to move back to the top of Coca-Colal League One before the rest of the fixtures on Saturday and Sunday, with both McLaren and Sherriff playing a pivitol role in the result.
McLaren scored the opening goal for Tranmere and then provided the crosses for the other two goals, whilst Sherriff got the second goal from McLaren's cross with a header at the far post.
This is the first time in a long time that Rovers have had two players selected in the team of the week, whilst the last Rovers player to make the League XI was John Achterberg following his stunning display in Tranmere's 2-1 win away to Southend at the start of October.
