Rovers confirm pre-season fixture list

Tranmere Rovers have today confirmed their pre-season fixture list for the summer of 2008, and once again Premier League opposition will be visiting Prenton Park.

Trotters set for Wirral return
For the second year running, it will be rivals Bolton Wanderers that make the trip to Prenton Park for their pre-season preperations, with Rovers also taking on local Championship side Blackpool on home soil.

Bolton visited Prenton Park last season for a pre-season game and won a poor match 1-0, although rivalries between to the two sides run back into the 1990's as both teams met each other in a number of crucial league and cup matches.

As per usual, Rovers will also be playing the usual local non-league opposition, with the first team set to make trips to Heswall, Marine, Cammell Laird, Vauxhall Motors, Southport and League Two side Morecambe.
