Pre-Season preperations begin for Tranmere boss
With the 2006/07 season barely over, Ronnie Moore and Tranmere Rovers have already started making arrangements for the teams they will play this summer in preperation for the 2007/08 season when the Super White Army will once again push for promotion.

Ronnie Moore is keen to keep Tranmere playing locally this summer so they do not dissrupt their preperation for next year, with the Rovers boss already arranging friendlies with local sides Cammel Laird and Heswall.

Moore however is hoping that he can pull off a big surprise and get one (or both) of Liverpool and Everton to come through the tunnell to play Rovers in a friendly at Prenton Park before the summer is out, commenting that "niether manager has said no so there is still a chance".

Other pre-season preperations for Rovers will see them play Championship sides Burnley and Stoke at Prenton Park on 17th July and 3rd August, with kick off times yet to be arranged.
