Hill has been Brian Little's assistant manager virtually since Brian began his stint at Tranmere Rovers boss on 10th October 2003 and Rovers have been very successful during that time.
John McMahon, the youth team coach, who was caretaker manager when Rovers sacked Ray Mathias just over two years ago will take over as Assistant-manager and will be assisted by Jason McAteer, who is currently sidelined through injury.
