Tranmere's influential central midfielder, Mark Rankine is to miss Tranmere's trip to Scunthorpe in League one on Saturday 19th November.

The experienced Rovers number 8 picked up his fifth yellow card of the season for dissent in the 58th minute of Rovers 2-1 "defeat" to Bradford in the F.A. Cup First Round match on Sunday.

The rule is that the player will miss a game 7 days after the booking which is forcing him to be suspended, and as Rovers home match against MK Dons in League One is on Saturday, in 6 days time, the suspension carries across to the trip to the Iron.
