Rovers were linked with the winger last summer following his release from Liverpool and Brian Little is once again rumoured to be chasing the midfielder after he got released by Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
It is believed that Brian Little will once agin try and chase the player who spent a season on loan at Conventry City down this summer.
