Moments of the season

Tranmere have had many great moments this season, and many not so good. The high points included the 5-1 win away to Wrexham and the low points included the 6-1 defeat away to Hull when the best goalkeeper ever, Theo Whitmore, kept goal.

My personal favourite moment of the season was when David Beresford knocked in that goal against Hartlepool. Such a great finish which eventually was meaning less as Rovers crashed out of the play-offs on Penalties.

My favourite match of the season is a different matter! Wrexham 1-5 Tranmere Rovers. The title speaks for itself. Scoring five goals away to any team is good, when it's your bitter rivals it's even better. A second half which may well have been are best of the season before the second leg against Hartlepool saw all 11 players excel, with Theo Whitmore playing quite possibly his best game of the season.

Straying away from the moment of the season, the worst game of the season was both Hull away and Hartlepool at home. Hull 6-1 Tranmere didn't reflect the way we played. We had a midfielder in goal after both our keeper's sustained injuries from Stuart Elliot challenges and Theo let in five of those six goals in 45 minutes.
The Hartlepool home game earns the worst moment of the season as I was so dissapointed when we lost on Penalties. Such a good night turned sour.
