Latest developments on managerial situation

Tranmere Rovers chairman Lorraine Rogers has announced that between herself, the board of Directors and club President Peter Johnson, they have manager to draw up a shortlist of three candidates for the vacant managerial post.

Rogers told the Rovers official site that out of the three candidates, two are currently employed by other League One clubs and one is unemployed.

Tranmere Rovers Mad are led to believe that the unemployed candidate is ex-Rovers striker John Aldridge whilst one of the two currently employed managers is believed to be Martin Allen, who is trying to resign from Brentford FC.

Tranmere have not made a formal offer to any of the three candidates yet but they are hoping to make their appointment next week but the club are very pleased with the quality of the managers they have got left on their Shortlist.
