'Keeper extends stay

Tranmere Rovers on-loan goalkeeper Ben Hinchcliffe has extended his stay on the Wirral for a further month this morning with his current deal due to expire this week.

Hinchcliffe, on loan from Championship club Preston North End, is now in his third month on-loan at the club after being drafted in as a replacement for the injured John Achterberg but is yet to make an appearance for the club.
