Hume bid accepted

Tranmere have accepted an offer from Championship side Leicester City for key striker and star player Iain Hume.

The deal is believed to be worth £500,000, plus £250,000 is Liecester are promoted and a 10% sell on clause - an offer described as far more attractive than the ones from Preston and Sheffield Wednesday recieved over the summer.

Hume, who did appear very unsettled on Monday during Tranmere's home match against Chesterfield, is travelling to Leicester today to finalise personal terms and under go a medical.
