So, going its pretty even on home and away from. As each have picked up just seven points.

When the two teams have met this year:

Tranmere 2-1 Hartlepool

Hartlepool 0-1 Tranmere

Things are looking up for Tranmere however, as this season they have taken six points from their play-off opponents. Chris Dagnall scoring a goal in each game.

The Key For Rovers:

Rovers have to make sure they emply the correct tactics in each game for a start. Brian Little can't start playing people out of position again either. The perfect formation away to Hartlepool would be 3-5-2, playing Linwood, Jackson and Sharps at center back, Roberts and Taylor on the wings, Hall, McAtear and Rankine in midfield and Dagnal upfront with leading scorer Hume. I think it's key Chris Dagnal starts in both games, as he has been a thorn in Hartlepool's side in both games.

The Editors Prediction: Hartlepool 1-1 Tranmere.

It will be a very close game no doubt. I think a draw will be the result as niether team will be able to overhaul the other. This result suits Rovers best, as of course there is no away goal rule in the play-offs, so the Pool couldn't go through with anything less than a win, which will be difficult at a packed Prenton Park.
