Goodison to miss next two games
Tranmere Rovers defender Ian Goodison is set to miss Rovers' next two fixtures after being called up to the Jamaica squad for their World Cup qualifying fixtures against Mexico and Honduras.

The fixtures take place on Saturday 6th and Wednesday 10th September, but Goodison will be flying out to meet up with his international team mates this week, meaning he misses Tranmere's fixtures against Accrington Stanley on Tuesday in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy and then the league match against rivals Oldham on Saturday.

Goodison has already missed two Tranmere matches this season due to a suspsension picked up at the end of last season, and Rovers lost both these matches (against Swindon Town and Grimsby), so Ronnie Moore will be hoping his star defender can come back from Jamaica fit and ready for Rovers' fixture against Huddersfield a week on Saturday.
