Good news for Rovers fans

My Tranmere Rovers player of the season (along with many other fans' choice for player of the season), Mark Rankine has admitted that he wants to play atleast one more season of first team football, and also hopes and thinks it likely that that season will be with Tranmere.
The 35 year-old has played an amazing 54 games for Rovers this year, rarely having a bad game and showing stunning stanima levels for a man of his age. He has been a rock in the center of the midfield for Tramnere this year, and now it looks likely that he is going to sign on for atleast one more season at Tranmere, after it was thought he would retire after the season just gone.

Rankine said: "I've enjoyed my time at Tranmere and all things being equal, and hopefully I'll get an offer, I'll stay".

This is certainlly good news for Tranmere as Rankine has been asset to the club this year, maybe the best player, definatly my player of the season as I said above.
