Free away travel for Rovers fans

Tranmere Rovers FC have announced that coach travel to Rovers' F.A. Cup First Round match away at Chesterfield will be free as the club look to take a massive following to Saltergate and win the game.

Rovers are in desperate need of a cup run, and they haven't reached the thrid round of either the League Cup or F.A. Cup since the 2003/04 season when they were knocked out of the F.A. Cup in the Quarter Finals by Millwall, who went on to lose to Manchester United in the final of the competition.

The move is similar to one made by Peterborough last year, who gave their fans free coach travel when they played Tranmere in the second round of the same competition at Prenton Park last year.
