After Tranmere added two more players to their squad yesterday, a further four players put pen to paper on new contracts today.

After successful seasons in the reserves, Paul Henry, Mike Johnston and Danny Holmes have all signed new one year contracts, whilst Mike Jones has also been rewarded with a new one year deal after a successful loan spell at Shrewsbury.

For Henry, the reserve team captain, Jones and Johnston (all 19) it will be a second year as professionals after they signed contracts under Brian Little, whilst it will be a first year as a professional for 18 year old Danny Holmes.

Only Jones out of the four players managed a first team appearance last season, this a substitute appearance again Woking, and all will be hoping their successful form in the reserves can convince manager Ronnie Moore to give them a first team game.
