Rovers reject Ellison bid
Tranmere Rovers have rejected a bid from Chester City for winger Kevin Ellison, believed to be in the region of £50,000.

Ellison joined Tranmere from Hull City last summer for an undisclosed fee, rejecting an offer from Chester amongst other clubs to move to Prenton Park. He made 36 appearances for Tranmere last season, scoring four goals including a vital header at Port Vale to earn Tranmere a 3-2 win.

Ronnie Moore has decided to reject Chester's offer as Rovers go in pursuit of promotion in the 2007/08 season, as he deamed the offer to be unacceptable.  It is now likely Ellison will serve out the final year of his contract.
