Date set for F.A. Cup showdown

Tranmere Rovers second round F.A. Cup match against Peterborough United will be played on Saturday 2nd December at Prenton Park, after the game was not selected for live television coverage.

Tranmere Rovers Football Club have slightly lowered some prices around the ground, but most stay at normal price.

There is expected to be a larger than average attendance at the game due to the new Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony announced that he would personally pay for over 2000 Posh fans to travel to the game using the official club coach travel. Would be nice if Tranmere fans got such treatment...
