Aiston Injury Worry

Tranmere Rovers winger Sam Aiston could miss the rest of the season with a calve injury he picked up after just ten minutes against Colchester at Layer Road on Monday.

The curly haired Geordie went down near the centre circle after just ten minutes and after a while on the floor getting treatment from Les Parry, Aiston limped off the field.

Should Aiston miss the rest of the season, it will be a big blow for Rovers but could see the likes of Mike Jones, Joe Fowler and Craig Curran get a run in the side.

Along with Aiston, Calvin Zola (thigh), John Achterberg (thigh), Steve O'Leary (first of three game ban) and Mike Jackson (third of three game ban) all miss out.
