2006/07 Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for the new 2006/07 season have been announced today.

Due to copyright protection, the fixture list cannot be published on this article, but here are a few of the fixtures which stand out for the coming season.

Tranmere will open the season on 5th August at home to Oldham Athletic, meaning Ronnie Moore will begin his term as Tranmere manager against the club he managed last season.

Rovers first away game will be newly promoted Cheltenham on Tuesday 8th August whilst Tranmere will face Millwall away on April 14th.

Over Christmas, Rovers will play Gillingham at home on 23rd December, then Huddersfield and Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day and 28th December away from home, before returning to Prenton Park on New Years Day against Rotherham for the second year running.

Rovers will play Brentford at home as their final game of the season whilst their final away game will be Crewe on 28th April.
