Tranmere V Stevenage at Prenton Park - Match Preview

Dugdale set for Rovers return

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore could welcome Adam Dugdale back into his squad for the clash with Stevenage.

The on-loan Crewe defender missed Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Fleetwood after he was declined permission to play in the competition by his parent club.

Jason Koumas will be missing for two to three weeks after picking up a groin strain in training, while Andy Robinson remains out with the same injury.

Winger Abdulai Bell-Baggie and goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams are away on international duty, but Andrai Jones is available after serving a three-match ban.

Stevenage will be without Lucas Akins and Darius Charles.

Winger Akins is expected to be sidelined for another couple of months with the ankle injury he suffered at the start of the season.

Defender-turned-striker Charles also missed last weekend's 1-1 draw against Bradford with an ankle ligament injury and he too could be out for a while yet.

Defenders Lee Hills (hamstring) and Ben Chorley (groin) are close to returning to action but are not expected to be risked by manager Graham Westley, who could name an unchanged squad.
