Chester have confirmed that they will play Tranmere Rovers in a friendly to be staged at the Deva Stadium.
The match will take place on Tuesday 27th July with a 7.30pm kick off.
Chester were re-formed this summer following the demise of the previous club under the stewardship of the dastardly Wirral-based crook, Stephen Vaughan.
The Blues will kick-off next season in the UniBond League 1 North under the management of Neil Young and former Tranmere striker Gary Jones.
