Jamaican defender Ian Goodison has won his third Tranmere Rovers Player of the Season award following an announcement on the official Rovers website.

Pepe, who only last month, signed a 2 year extension to his contract at Prenton Park is regarded by many as one of Tranmere's best ever defenders and at 37-years of age is still going strong.

Goodison beat Zoumana Bakayogo and Ian Thomas-Moore to the award who finished second and third respectively.

Ash Taylor won the Young Player of the Season award with Luke Daniels in second place and Shaleum Logan third.

Meanwhile, John Welsh won the Goal of the Season award thanks to his early-season effort against Gillingham in a 4-2 win.
