The highly-rated striker is still troubled by a groin injury and is unlikely to play any part against Gary Megson`s men.
Ash Taylor and Ian Goodison are set to be passed fit despite picking up minor knocks in Saturday`s 3-1 win at Plymouth.
Taylor sustained a slight jaw injury and Goodison picked up a hamstring strain but the complaints are not serious and will not prevent them facing the Owls.
However, midfielder Ryan Fraughan has damaged medial ligaments in his knee and will be out for around six weeks.
Saturday`s victory at Home Park lifted Rovers three points clear of the relegation zone.
