Coventry V Tranmere at Sixfields Stadium - Match Preview

Thomas banned for Sky Blues

Coventry midfielder Conor Thomas will miss the visit of Tranmere as he serves a one-match suspension.

Thomas was booked for the fifth time this season in last weekend's thrilling 3-3 draw at Bradford, a game which saw the return of teenager Billy Daniels to the bench after overcoming a hernia problem. Daniels could make his first appearance in four weeks against Rovers.

Andy Webster and John Fleck have been under the weather this week but are expected to take their place in the Sky Blues' line-up.

Steven Pressley has confirmed defender Jordan Willis is still three weeks away from his return from a knee injury.

Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore has goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams available for the trip.

The 26-year-old missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Bristol City as he was on international duty with Wales, but he is likely to return to the starting line-up on Saturday.

Moore will run the rule over midfielder Steve Jennings, who has been struggling with a groin injury.

Rovers captain James Wallace is making good progress in his recovery from a long-term knee ligament injury and could make his long-awaited return to the squad.
