The left-back picked up a foot injury during Saturday's 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Yeovil and looks certain to miss out.
With Aaron Cresswell on the sidelines due to a hip injury, the loss Bakayogo would give Rovers boss Les Parry a headache at left-back.
Dale Jennings, Alan Mahon, Ryan Fraughan and Marlon Broomes are all nursing injuries and Joss Labadie serves the second game of a two-match suspension.
Parry is demanding an improvement from his players after Saturday's defeat condemned Rovers to their third straight loss.
He said: "I don't mind taking responsibility for things and facing up to them. Sometimes the players have to face up to them as well."
