Birds flying North for Winter

This Saturday, Tranmere take on table topping Swansea City in League One. Earlier today, I managed to track down a Swansea fan, James Cooze, willing enough to answer a few questions on the game, so here they are.

Matthew Jones: You've had a good start to the season, but of late your away form hasn't been too hot. Do you think you can win on Saturday?

James Cooze: The teams morale is good. Most of the starting XI that beat Yeovil 2-0 at home were rested [vs. Rushden mid-week] ready for this game. The team morale has increased superbly over the past 2 months or so we have no injury worries ahead of the game at Tranmere.

Whats your biggest threat?

Obviously Lee Trundle because evrything his he does turns too goldust he's on form with 17 goals already this season.

Andy Robinson, a Tranmere fan, will be returning to the Wirral. Whats he been like this season?

Well Andy Robinson lately has been sidelined due to the arrival of Kevin McLeod. His form has been tremendous and he works hard on the left wing. However, I saw Robbo play down the Liberty against Rushden and Diamonds a few days ago and he looked like his old self. He scored two goals in the 4-0 win over Rushden in the LDV Vans Trophy.

Will you have a near enough full strength team out?

The team morale has increased superbly over the past 2 months or so we have no injury worries ahead of the game at Tranmere. we have a full strength squad Adrian Forbes who played a full game at the Liberty Stadium the other night looks fighting fit and will probably be on the bench.

Who's the one to watch apart from the obvious choice of Lee Trundle?

I think the main players to look out for will be obviously Lee Trundle, also, look out for Kevin McLeod, who had that goal rush at the beggining of the season, Leon Britton and Bayo Akinfenwa.

How many supporters are you likely to bring, and are you coming yourself?

I think i'tll be a good turn out as we have probably the best fans in the league. I myself will be at Prenton Park, as I am a loyal jack.

And finally, your prediction for the game?

I think the result will be 2-1 to the Swans

I'd like to thanks James for taking the time to answer these questions, and I'll take all this info into consideration (hopefully Brian Little will too!).

My prediction for the game isn't as kind to Rovers. I'm going for Tranmere 1-4 Swansea, with Trundle getting a hatrick and Robinson one for the Swans, whilst Greenacre will get his tenth for Rovers. I feel the way we have been playing at home recently will not merit anything close to a point, but I would love to be proved wrong, and, as many Rovers fans have said, we often do it against the big boys.
