Whatever happens, Les Parry will always be a hero to Tranmere fans.
He’s done a really good job and it’s a great story.
The players have really played for him and it just shows what can be achieved when you take a risk on someone who is untried at management level.
If the budget at Prenton Park is cut again over the summer, then another very difficult job awaits the manager of Tranmere.
But I hope Les gets the chance to do it.
