After the 6-0 drubbing of Cammell Laird last Saturday, Tranmere are set to continue their preperations for next season with their annual friendly against Heswall on Wednesday 18th July.

Ronnie Moore is set to name a strong side for the match, with triallist Bakke set to play again after he played 60 minutes against Lairds on Saturday. However John Mullin remains a doubt whilst new signing Ben Chorley could also miss out after picking up a knock in Rovers' 6-0 win at the weekend.

Last time round, Tranmere put out a side full of reserve and youth team players and were embarrasingly defeated by a goal to nil, however, they will be looking for the win this time round with just four weeks left until the new season.

The game kicks off at 7pm at Gayton Park, with admission of £3 for adults and £2 for concessions.
