Chris Shukers return from injury was overshadowed as Rovers reserves lost 2-1 to Burnley reserves in the pontins holiday league division one.

Shuker played the full 90 minutes assisting the goal for Terry Gornell. The young striker scored an easy enough goal from 12 yards out.

Burnley equalised on 35 minutes courtesy of an own goal and the vistors secured the win when Alex Rae-Harvey scored from 25 yards out which overshadowed Chris Shukers return to action.

It was a match with very few chances with Terry Gornell and Josh Macauley both had efforts just go wide.

After the game Shuker said " He was happy with his return to action and that he was satisfied with his performance "
