In the battle to avoid the remaining relegation spot Swindon took full advantage of Bristol Rovers and Cambridge’s defeats to edge towards after with a nail biting victory over Peterborough.
Akexander headed them into an early lead only for an Alan Reeves own goal to level the scores with only fourteen minutes left to play. Swindon then hit back in the dying seconds to claim the points when an Invincible effort found the back of the net.
With a tough last day game at Stoke, Swindon are still relying on the results of fellow sides to confirm their survival.
