Cresswell set for chance

Tranmere boss Les Parry will hand Aaron Cresswell a chance to re-establish himself in the side when Oldham visit Prenton Park. First-choice left-back Zoumana Bakayogo was sent off in last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Charlton and now misses the visit of the Latics. The French defender must serve a one-match ban and Parry said: "This is an opportunity for Aaron to take his chance." On-loan Watford striker Marvin Sordell, who has made four first-team appearances for the Hornets this season, joined Rovers on a month's loan earlier this week. He has impressed in training and could make his bow against Dave Penney's side. Striker Bas Savage remains sidelined as he recovers from a 10-month lay-off with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
